Financing, with the numbers in front of you.
The rate, the term and what it ends up costing, before you come to the showroom. Financing is offered by partner finance companies and is subject to their approval: we do not lend the money, we process the application.
The terms, in one table.
These are the terms currently in force for the showrooms that sell KÜINA. They are granted by the finance company and may change; the ones that apply to you are those stated in your own contract.
| Nominal interest rate (TIN) | 8.95% per year |
| APR of the example | 9,33 % |
| Term | From 3 to 96 months |
| Arrangement fee | 0 € |
| Early settlement or repayment | Free of charge |
| Insurance | Not compulsory |
| Interest-free | Up to 6 months, 0% nominal rate and 0% APR. The showroom absorbs the interest; it is not passed on to you |
| Approval | Subject to the finance company’s assessment and approval |
What it would come to each month.
Your browser does the arithmetic with the standard amortising-loan formula at 8.95% nominal. Nothing is sent anywhere and this is not an application: it is a sum, so you arrive at the showroom knowing what we are talking about.
Instalment calculator
The amount to finance and the term in months.
Monthly instalment
— €/month
- This is an estimate at 8.95% nominal, with no arrangement fee and no insurance. The binding instalment is the one in the contract you sign with the finance company.
- A longer term lowers the instalment and raises what you end up paying. Early repayment is free, so a long term with the intention of paying ahead is a reasonable choice.
Constant instalment: c = C · i / (1 − (1+i)−n), where i = nominal rate/12 and n = months.
Representative example. For an amount of €12,000 over 60 months: nominal rate 8.95%, APR 9.33%, 60 instalments of €248.81, total amount of credit €12,000, total cost of the credit €2,928.55, total amount payable €14,928.55. No arrangement fee, no settlement charges and no compulsory insurance. Financing offered by partner finance companies and subject to their approval.
What we do not do.
Three things that are common in this trade and that you will not find here.
The price does not depend on financing
The kitchen costs the same in cash as in instalments. There is no higher “financed” price and no discount that disappears if you decide to pay in one go.
We do not sell insurance with the credit
No repayment or payment-protection insurance is required for approval, and we will not slip one into your instalment.
We never advertise an instalment without the total
An instalment of €150 a month means nothing without the term and the total payable. Here the three figures always travel together.
What we get asked most.
What documents are needed?
ID, proof of income (a payslip, a pension statement or your last tax return if you are self-employed) and a bank account number. The finance company runs its assessment and normally answers the same day or the next.
Can I finance only part of it?
Yes, and it is fairly common: you pay part in cash and finance the rest — the building work or the appliances, for instance. You choose the amount and the term.
What if I later want to pay ahead or settle it?
You can, at no cost. It is one of the terms worth checking before signing any credit agreement, because not every lender works this way.
Is the six months interest-free real?
Yes, with one piece of small print we would rather say out loud: the interest exists, and the showroom pays it instead of passing it on to you. That is why it is capped at six months and at certain amounts. Beyond that, the rate in the table applies.
Who provides the credit?
A partner finance company. We act as intermediaries: we prepare the application in the showroom and the lender decides. The contract shows their name, the rate applied and the APR before you sign anything.
Does it cost anything to ask if I then say no?
No. Asking for the assessment commits you to nothing and costs nothing. Until you sign the contract, there is no credit.
Price first, instalment second.
The instalment comes from the amount, so the first thing is to know what your kitchen costs. Come with the measurements and you leave the appointment with a closed quotation; if you then want to finance it, it is arranged right there.
