The part you touch forty times a day.

The handle is the one part of the kitchen you hold every time you use it, and the one that changes the character of the units most without changing a single front. Here is the whole range.

Bar, knob or grip Black, steel, brass and bronze Handleless too

First decide whether you want to see it.

This question comes before the model, and it changes the result more than anything: the same front with a visible handle and without one look like two different kitchens.

With a visible handle

A bar, a knob or a shell, screwed to the front. It is easier to grip, it takes ten minutes to change the day you tire of it, and it is the option with character: brass or matt black register from the kitchen door.

Uñero integrado en color bronce, metido en el propio mueble por encima del cajón

With an integrated grip

A profile set into the unit itself, above the drawer. It is invisible head-on and keeps the line clean, but the profile is part of the unit and cannot be changed later.

Dos frentes lisos que se juntan sin tirador ninguno, sólo la junta de sombra

Nothing at all, push to open

A front that is flat from top to bottom and opens with a push. It is the cleanest option and the one that works best in a kitchen open to the living room. In exchange, you have to bend down to push the lower drawers.

The models.

Grouped by type. Not every one that exists is here — the maker has more — but these are the ones usually fitted. In the showroom you have them in your hand, which for a handle is what decides it: you grip it, you pull, and you can tell.

What we get asked most.

Can I change them later?

The screw-on ones yes, and it is the cheapest change there is: they alter the face of the kitchen in an afternoon. What cannot be changed afterwards is the integrated grip or push-to-open, because they are part of the unit and are decided when the project is drawn.

Does the handle have to match the tap?

It helps, but it is not compulsory. What usually looks wrong is having three different metals on show: a brass handle, a chrome tap and a steel extractor. Even two can start to look careless.

Which one marks least?

Brushed steel and matt black. Polished chrome shows fingerprints, and so does very bright gold. If you cook a lot, brushed finishes forgive a great deal.

Are they included in the price of the kitchen?

The standard range yes. A few specific models carry a supplement, and when they do you are told at the appointment and it appears in the quote as a line, not as a surprise at the end.

Bring your hand.

A handle is chosen by holding it. In the showroom they are mounted on doors, which is how you will use them.
