The front is what you'll look at every day.

It is the face of the kitchen and the part that most changes how the room feels. There are over eighty to choose from: here is a sample of each family, and in the shop you have them all in your hand.

Over 80 fronts 4 colour families 3 door shapes

Three door shapes.

Decide the shape before the colour: it is what makes a kitchen look contemporary or traditional. All three come in almost every colour.

Frente liso sin relieve ni marco

Flat

No relief and no frame. It makes a small kitchen look larger because nothing interrupts the eye. Most of the fronts are this type.

Frente con un marco rebajado en la propia puerta

Framed

A shallow recessed panel in the door itself. It adds a little shadow and craft without going rustic. It works well in older flats with mouldings.

Frente clásico con marco y plafón en relieve

Classic

Frame and raised panel, with real relief. It is the most traditional one and the one that goes best with knobs and stone worktops.

A sample.

Four from each family, so you can see where each one goes. They are not all here, and there is no point in them being: a screen's colour is never the real colour, so this is for getting the idea, and the decision is made in the shop with the sample in your hand.

What we get asked most.

Is the colour on screen the real one?

Not quite, and there is no way it could be: it depends on your screen, its brightness and the light in the room you are in. A matt and an ultra matt in the same colour are told apart by hand, not by eye in a photo. That is why the fronts are there as samples in the shop.

Can I combine two fronts in the same kitchen?

Yes, and it is quite common: tall units in a dark tone and base units in a light one, or an island different from the rest. What matters is that they share a door shape, because mixing slab and classic in the same run almost never works.

Which one shows the dirt least?

Slab matt fronts in mid tones. Gloss shows fingerprints and very dark fronts show dust; the ultra matt ones have a coating that hides it rather well. If you have children, ask about those.

Does the front change the price much?

It does, and it is one of the three things that move it most, along with the length and the worktop. At the appointment you see it with your own layout in front of you, in writing.

They are all in the showroom.

All eighty-odd, as samples, to touch them and see them in the light your kitchen will really have. The appointment lasts about an hour and costs nothing.
